We are always happy to partner with the community schools and the people working on the front lines to help families living in hotels with essential items.
You can help at 3 Outreach events hosted by the Henrico County McKinney-Vento Department! McKinney-Vento Act is a law passed to support and protect children and youth that are experiencing homelessness.
- MV team will be hosting summer pop-up events at several hotels throughout Henrico county to connect with students and their families and ensure they have the resources they need to return to school in the fall. While we have done well with planning thus far, we still need volunteers to serve the day of the event.

July 18th: Motel 6 (7831 Shrader Rd RVA 23294)
July 25th: Express Airport Inn (5700 Williamsburg Rd Sandston, VA 23150)
We will be at a table with a tent sharing information about Mercy Mall. There will be food, music and other vendors sharing resource information with people in the area.
