Mercy Mall will be participating in McKinney-Vento’s Summer BBQ Events again this year!
These events provide essential resources, connect students and families with community partners, and help ensure students are prepared to start school on Day 1.
This year, the events will look a little different as they will be hosted on football fields. They will be hosted at three locations in and around Henrico, with vendor tables on one side of the field and fun games for students and families on the other. Mercy Mall has been asked to run the games, and it is going to be so much fun!
We will need around 20 volunteers each day to help with:
• Mercy Mall information table
• Game stations
• Prize tables
• Set-up and break-down
• Tent and game set-up
There are three Thursday event dates:

Please note: You will need to sign up separately for each date you would like to serve. Each date will have different shift options for set-up, event support, and break-down.
This is a great opportunity for people of all ages! If you have kids or grandkids who need community service hours, this could be a fun way for them to serve.
