At Mercy Mall we are a ministry offering free clothing, housewares (not furniture), baby items, toiletries, cleaning supplies, and more to individuals and families overcoming the obstacles to home and life stability.
We offer a curbside pick up appointment for our clients to pick up the items they request. YOU get to pick it all out as a Personal Shopper!
Volunteers in this area will have the fun and blessing of shopping for an individuals or families! You will select outfits, gather baby gear, pack up household items and hygiene for each client you serve.
Packing an order consists of:
- Making decisions based on available goods
- Thinking about what you would need if you were in the client’s situation
- Having knowledge of clothing and a CURRENT fashion sense-do you know what's cute and in?
- Being able to stand/walk, climb ladders, lift and carry, bend and squat
- Praying over the client you are serving as you pack their order
